Reopen the Cold Case of Rudolph Dwyer's Murder in Prince George’s County, Maryland

The Issue

Our family has been living with a gaping wound for over three decades. On November 9th, 1992, our beloved brother and son, Rudolph Dwyer was brutally murdered in broad daylight in Prince George’s County, Maryland. He was an accomplished engineer who had put himself through college and was only 30 years old at the time of his tragic death. Despite our repeated pleas for justice and closure, the cold case department of Prince George’s County has yet to show any progress or effort to solve this case.

We are not just a grieving family; As a military veteran myself, I believe that every life matters and deserves justice - including my brother's. Yet it seems like his life did not matter to those responsible for solving his murder.

Our mother sacrificed everything to bring us to the United States for a better life. She is now 80 years old and deserves more than just hollow condolences; she deserves answers about her firstborn son's untimely death.

It is high time that the cold case department of Prince George’s County takes this matter seriously. We urge them to reopen Rudolph Dwyer's murder investigation immediately and dedicate proper resources towards finding his killer.

This petition isn't just about seeking justice for one individual; it is about upholding our shared values as a community that respects every citizen's right to safety and justice.

Please sign this petition if you believe in these values too - let us ensure that no other family has to endure what we have been through due merely to police indifference or negligence.
