Busch Faculty Dining update: Let's show strong support from every department on the Busch campus!

Thank you so much for signing the petition to reopen the Busch Faculty Dining facility! As of now, we have 221 signatures from current Rutgers faculty, staff and students: 118 from Physics and Astronomy, 50 from math, 14 from Earth and Planetary Sciences, 13 from Statistics, 5 from MAE, 4 from CCB, 3 from MSE, and one each from Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and ECE, and 7 from other Rutgers departments and programs.

In order for this petition to make an impression on the relevant administrators, I think it's important to have strong support from ALL the SAS and SOE departments on the Busch campus.  One reason we have so many from Physics and Astronomy may be that, in addition to talking it up with individual colleagues and sharing the link, I sent it to an email list that includes the whole department (faculty, staff, postdocs, grad students). So please, if you can, make an renewed effort to share the link for the petition -  with individual colleagues in your department and through mailing lists as appropriate, AND with your colleagues in other departments, especially ones that are not currently well represented. With enough shares, I am hoping we can get to a tipping point where everyone affected will see the petition and have a chance to sign!
