Reopen the Beehive, Manhattan Beach

Reopen the Beehive, Manhattan Beach
The Issue
The Beehive was a very popular family run boutique in Manhattan Beach. It offered a wide selection of fashion and trinkets, but it was more than that. It was a community center. It was a place that people liked working at. It was a place much of the community frequented, not just as customers but as friends with the workers and others who would come into the store. It was a place where an autistic person without many friends had long found companionship. It was a place that was not afraid to higher young high schoolers and give them their first job experience in the real world, something other boutiques are not as eager to do and which corporate places almost never do.
The store unfortunately closed down in March due to problems over the building's maintenance. The owners are claiming that they are working on reopening it, but nothing has been done yet, and the rumor is that they do not want to reopen. The closure of The Beehive is a major loss to the community and we believe it should be reopened, particularly if the store was profitable.
I am calling on someone to reopen that place. I would prefer it to be the original owners, as they have a great expertise in choosing things that draw people, but if not them I am calling on someone else. someone else who has both the experience and the passion for opening and running such a place and someone who was familiar with The Beehive. I am asking for those who have what it takes to not only mourn the closure of this fine store but to make an effort it getting it reopened.
