Mr. Brenan is vital to the Tech and Engineering department, providing all of the Technology and Engineering classes at Costa besides computer science. Including Principles of Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Design Development, Intro to Robotics, Advanced Robotics, Computer Science Principles and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence. He also advises two of the largest clubs on campus, Robotics Club and the Aerospace Engineering Club. All of these classes/clubs will either go away or be significantly changed if Mr. Brenan does not return next year.

Mr. Brenan's unjust firing would remove any option for a student wanting to pursue any engineering related career at Mira Costa via the complete disappearance of classes and clubs. His dedication has inspired countless students to pursue careers in engineering and technology fields and will continue to do so if his contract is renewed.

Please sign this petition and also add a public comment to urge Mira Costa High School and the MBUSD Board of Directors to renew Mr. Brenan's contract for the benefit of current and future students!
