During challenging times, unity is crucial as the saying goes, "United we stand, divided we fall." To effect change in our masjid, becoming a registered member is essential. While the world progresses towards artificial intelligence, we lag behind with paper memberships. Automating ID verification with the DPS would cost a few thousand dollars (one-time) but the current manual system is cumbersome. Instances have occurred where names were missed during elections despite registering on paper, leading to voting issues. It is important to seize every chance to register as a member to influence leadership towards forward-thinking individuals rather than those rooted in the past.
