I’m just a longtime fan of HIMYM that wasn’t so sure about HIMYF at first, and then grew to love it. HIMYF really hit its stride between its first and second seasons and I was shocked at its cancellation after a stellar and popular season 2 finale.

As a long-time fan of the hit television show "How I Met Your Mother," I was thrilled when news broke about its spin-off, "How I Met Your Father." The original series captured our hearts with its relatable characters, witty humor, and heartfelt storytelling. It became a cultural phenomenon that resonated with millions of viewers worldwide.

"How I Met Your Father" promised to deliver the same magic that made its predecessor so beloved. It offered a perfect mix of nostalgia for loyal fans while introducing fresh perspectives and new stories. Throughout its first and second seasons, development of the storylines and characters made the show a cultural phenomenon in its own right.

According to Whip Media's TV Time, "How I Met Your Father" was the most watched original series across all platforms in the United States during the week of January 29, 2023 (season 2 premiere) and the 2nd most watched during the week of June 4, 2023 (season 2 finale).

Unfortunately, despite the high anticipation from fans after its stellar season 2 finale and the finale's high ratings, the show was not given the chance it deserved.

Renewing or picking up "How I Met Your Father" represents a lucrative financial opportunity for any network.
