In honor of Coach Hector Henry's unwavering dedication to the children of East New York and the broader community, it is only fitting that we consider renaming the courts at Linden Park—in his honor. The proposal to name them "Hector Henry Tennis Courts" stands as a testament to the profound impact he has had on generations of young athletes.  
 
For more than two decades, Hector Henry served as the dedicated Site Director of NYJTL's Free Community Tennis Program at the heart of Linden Park, nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of East New York.  

Hector was not merely a tennis instructor; he was a mentor, a role model, and a beacon of hope for countless youngsters who aspired to excel in the world of sports and beyond. He understood the transformative power of education and sports, and he made it his mission to empower the youth.  

This gesture not only immortalizes Hector's legacy but also ensures that his story continues to inspire future generations, urging them to reach their full potential in sports and in life.
