When asked who the Matador Softball/Baseball Complex in Seguin, Tx should be named after…Chloe Belicek was the first name to come to mind.  She was so proud of this new complex.   

Chloe Belicek represents everything that you want in a student athlete and everything you want in a MATADOR.  She had a powerful love of God, family and others that she portrayed to all who met her.  She had virtues that take most people a lifetime to learn. She had great wisdom to treat people with respect and dignity.  Courage to stand up to injustice on and off the field, court or classroom.  Compassion and Charity to help others when needed.  Humility to know that she is only as good as her teammates: by encouraging and having discipline and always showing the love of the game.   

She had many of the characteristics that you would find in a modern-day HERO, giving 100% and encouraging 100% in everyone, young or old.  
HERO Complex has a great ring to it.  Just make sure that Chloe Belicek’s name is listed there-because when anyone enters this complex and sees Chloe’s name, the stories will flow of this great young woman who changed and strongly impacted this Seguin Community and Communities for miles around.

The Knights of Columbus Council #3412 and the St. James Catholic Church Community are asking for your support in renaming the Matador Softball/Baseball Complex the "HERO Complex" in memory of Chloe Belicek.
