To the City Council of Ottawa,

International diplomacy is all about reciprocity and mutual respect. Recently, U.S. President Donald Trump generously signed an executive order to give our shared waters a beautiful new upgrade, kindly renaming Lake Ontario as "Lake America."

As polite Canadians, we cannot let such geographic kindness go unanswered. In the spirit of true bilateral friendship, we believe it is only right that we respectfully return the favor by naming a landmark in our nation’s capital after him.

Therefore, we are officially calling on the City of Ottawa to rename the prominent public washroom facility located at 55 ByWard Market Square to "The Trumproom."

Why "The Trumproom"?

• Civic Pride & Transparency: Naming this vital facility "The Trumproom" will instantly make it a historic landmark for tourists and locals alike, highlighting Canadians' respect for the President.

We urge the Ottawa City Council to swiftly approve "The Trumproom" as the official designation for the 55 ByWard Market Square public washrooms.
