You may recall in a previous update this document was allegedly destroyed in a flood at a Churchill Trust building somewhere in Australia. When questioned as to the details of the flood, no further information was known by the Trust. With thanks to an interstate supporter I was tipped off to a copy being held in the Ngala archival collection held at the State Library of WA. I then wrote to the WA Churchill Trust and informed them of the location of this copy.

This week I discovered that the Churchill Trust has uploaded Beryl Grant's 1968 report. This is a 9 page 'extract'. These pages are clearly opening paragraphs to a much longer paper which I suspect will detail what the Matron observed about international adoption practices during her publicly funded 7 nation tour.

My question is - where is the rest of the document ?

The signifigance of this report can not be under estimated. Survivors of forced adoption, especially those of us who were held at Ngala deserve to know exactly what the Matron learnt and then potentially implemented at Ngala in the following years to further streamline the removal of newborns from their mothers.

I call on Ngala CEO Michelle Dillon to release the entire document.
