DENMARK AND GREENLAND SHOULD BE INVOLVED SAVING THE NARWHAL SAVE THE NARWHAL FROM THE SENSELESS KILLING AND EXPOSURE TO     ENCROACHMENT OF HUMAN OCCUPATION IN OUR ARCTIC WATERS

     Our Narwhals are disappearing from the Canadian and Alaskan waters from senseless killings. Our Eskimo/Inuit peoples depend on these creatures for survival. Here is a brief story about our Arctic Narwhal:

     Once called the unicorn of the Arctic, our narwhals are a beautiful creature which have unique long ivory spiraling tusks from their mouth.     

     Weight: up to 4,200 pounds

     Length: as long as 17 feet.

     Our narwhals spend their time in the Arctic waters of Canada, Greenland and have been seen for years in our Alaskan waters. 

Threats to the lives of our narwhals: Tourism Cruise Ship and Cargo Ship traffic which has become more frequent over the past 10 years. Also oil and gas development has become a danger to the lives of narwhals as well as the other Arctic whales, marine and sea life, as well as our polar bears
