We’re making big strides in our campaign to rename Nashville International Airport after the one and only Dolly Parton - and now we need your help to get the right people on board.
There are two decision-makers who could help make this happen:
1. Rep. Todd Warner, a Tennessee state legislator who has expressed support for renaming the airport after Dolly.
2. Douglas Kreulen, CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA), which oversees the airport and would need to approve a name change.
Here’s how you can take action:
Tweet at them, comment on their posts, call their offices, or send them a polite message urging them to support the petition.
Here’s an example message you can post:
“Dolly Parton is a Tennessee icon - let’s make BNA her airport! @RepToddWarner, you said you would support this, let’s make it happen! #DepartinFromParton”
The more public support they see, the harder it will be to ignore this movement. We’ve already hit 45,000 signatures - let’s keep the momentum going!
Thanks for the support!
