Rename Dublin's Millennium Bridge after Sinead O'Connor

Rename Dublin's Millennium Bridge after Sinead O'Connor
The Issue
Rename Dublin's Millenium Bridge in honour of Sinead O'Connor
I recently visited the amazing city of Dublin and one evening whilst walking along the River Liffey (yes it was in a rainstorm) I realised as yet there is no official remembrance and tribute in Dublin to one of Ireland's most famous modern-day daughters.
The amazing Sinead O'Connor and her mesmeric voice who in 1987 released The Lion and the Cobra, one of the most amazing albums ever to come out of Ireland and the famous opening lyrics from Troy:
'I remember it, Dublin in a rainstorm..................'
Sinead propelled herself onto the world stage as a female force to be reconned with at the 31st annual Grammy Awards in 1989 when she performed her song Mandinka and wore the Public Enemy logo etched onto the side of her shaven head.
Sinead remained throughout her career a rebel unafraid to have an opinion but armed with one of the most incredible voices the world will ever hear.
A fitting tribute to Sinead would be for the Millenium Bridge to be renamed the Sinead O'Connor Bridge and have her music playing continuously 24 hrs a day so at any time of day or night visitors can remember just how unique and amazing Sinead voice and talent were.
“Sinead could move us with a candour and a passion with which so many people connected. The path she chose was always difficult and uncompromising but at every turn she would show her spirit and her courage. I feel lucky to have worked with her.” Peter Gabriel
It would be very fitting for a path bridge over the River Liffey to be renamed in honour of Sinead O'Connor so fans and visitors to Dublin can connect with Sinead's spirit and music.
The road traffic on either side of the bridge means carefully positioned directional speakers would not cause any noise pollution to any adjacent building but would give a brilliant audio ambience to anyone on the bridge.
