Food trucks bring diversity and vibrancy to our commercial zones, offering unique culinary experiences and supporting local businesses. 

Current proposed restrictions would limit a food truck's ability to operate within 100 feet of an open brick and mortar restaurant. While this may seem nice in theory, it simply enables a monopoly for existing food options, which most know are limited already in our area. The food trucks provide another layer of excitement and communal gathering that is much needed in Long Hill and fill a gap where limited dining exists.
