USING DISABLED PLATES:  These vans NOW have somehow been cleared to sell prostitution permanently, anywhere, by using disabled plates.  SEE PIX.  Most recently one of these vans with disabled plates sits in Burbank's high school district, so far March-April 2019.

For four years another is still selling naked maids right at McDonalds on Riverside, now with disabled plates.

LA COUNTY UPDATE

"We are in ongoing discussions with DMV, LAPD, Parking Enforcement, Assemblymember Nazarian's office, Councilmember Krekorian's office, and several members of the City Attorney's Office about how to handle these vehicles. One of the changes that came out of these conversations is a $1000 fine that the city will impose on a vehicle that is fraudulently using a disabled plate or placard. The ordinance passed Council and the language has been drafted by the City Attorney's Office; it needs to go back to Council to be adopted. As soon as that happens, we will let everyone know. In the meantime, Parking Enforcement and LAPD continue to issue tickets (or impound, when the law allows) any vehicle that is abandoned, using plates not issued to it, etc.
 
We have also been working with DMV and the Assembly office on a number of policy issues associated with the disabled plates and placards, including how many can be issued, what documentation is required, and how they are renewed. Several of the areas that we thought had loopholes turned out to be more complicated than we first thought, but the Assembly office is still exploring them. There is also an active DMV investigation. "

As you see the more signatures the better to help the LA CITY ATTORNEY's office end vehicular prostitution.
