The segments on the ABC breakfast and evening news slots last week and an article in The Age on Sunday boosted the audience from 2.4 million to 13.1 million but the Winki Pop surf cam issue has also been in many online articles, on radio and in newspapers around the country.
This has all originated from the media seeing a couple of our facebook posts and contacting us and our Deakin University colleagues, (authors of the discussion paper) for interviews and comments.
Thank you so much for signing the petition! We would really appreciate it if you could keep the momentum going and share the petition to remove the Winki Pop surf cam with your friends and anyone who appreciates keeping places like Bells Beach, Winki Pop and other unique and special places free of over the top developments and unnecessary commercial influences.
