REMOVE THE PEACOCKS AND SAVE OUR ENVIRONMENT AND SANITY
The issue
The peacocks in the local neighbourhood of Narrabundah have been allowed to roam free for too long and are putting unnecessary pressure on our native flora and fauna. They are a danger to motorists, they make an incredible amount of noise at the most inappropriate time's and defecate everywhere which in itself is a danger to humans.
Other areas of Australia have taken the legitimate step to remove these non native birds. It is high time the ACT Government followed the rest of the country in removing these pests.
Given the new - Nature Positive Plan: better for the environment, better for business https://www.dcceew.gov.au/environment/epbc/publications/nature-positive-plan
It is now time to act to save our native flora and fauna.
Take the time to think about our future and what this means for our children as I know they would rather our native wildlife flourish not some introduced species.
