Vero Beach High School’s integrity and athletic tradition matter deeply to our community. Recently, our football program experienced a loss that has left students, families, and supporters confused and frustrated. As dedicated supporters of Vero Beach athletics, many of us witnessed the disappointment following decisions made during the championship game that directly affected its outcome.

These decisions were not viewed by many in the community as simple tactical errors. The lack of explanation surrounding them has created uncertainty and concern, leaving important questions unanswered. This situation goes beyond one game; it reflects the need to uphold the values, communication, and leadership standards our school represents.

We respectfully call on the school administration and athletic department to conduct a formal review of the coaching decisions made during the championship game and to provide the community with a clear and honest explanation. Transparency and accountability are essential to restoring confidence in the program.

This petition urges the school board to take appropriate action based on the findings of that review. Ensuring strong leadership and open communication will help rebuild trust and protect the legacy of Vero Beach High School for our students and athletes.
