Recently, Roblox rolled out an update known as ID Age Check. With this update, you are unable to chat without scanning your face or uploading your ID. Earlier, Roblox even banned a user named Schlep for exposing the predators on the site.
These are problems that we need to take very seriously, and which will constitute increasingly vast challenges to all of the countries on the planet.

Why should this be removed?

This update carries serious risks of privacy disclosure and data leakage.

Privacy: The majority of Roblox’s users are under the age of 16, and scans involving one’s facial features raise a huge concern for privacy. Many countries have legislated laws on the protection of personal information of minors, making it illegal to demand face scans.

Data leaks: Data breaches do occur online all the time. If Roblox were ever hacked, millions of facial scans could leak—mostly from minors! Who would be at fault? Roblox might go through lawsuits and some legal challenges. If you see this ID Age Check pop up, don't click "Continue". Sign petitions or speak out to show that this kind of update is a bad idea for the safety and privacy of Roblox users.
