alo used to be about skill, not speed. Every player moved the same, every fight was about aim, map control, and smart positioning. That’s what made it unique. Then sprint came along and changed everything — and not for the better.

Sprint ruins the classic flow. It forces bigger, emptier maps. It breaks up fights because players can just run away instead of committing. It messes with shield recharge, pacing, and the whole balance Halo was built on.

People say, “just make it optional.” But that’s not a fix. That’s like crawling when you can walk — nobody’s going to handicap themselves on purpose just to stay “classic.” If sprint’s in the game, players will feel forced to use it. That’s not choice. That’s pressure.

Halo was never about keeping up with every other FPS. It was about doing things better. It was about balance, fairness, and skill. We don’t need sprint. We need Halo to feel like Halo again.

Bring back the movement that made this series great. Keep it clean, consistent, and competitive.
Remove sprint. Bring back real Halo.
