Roblox's age group update is, to say the least, absolutely awful. This update doesn't protect children at all, in fact, I'd say it's doing the opposite. This update is only showing that Roblox refuses to take accountability for protecting predators instead of children themselves.

The AI being used to estimate the ages of players has proven time and time again how inaccurate it is. Nobody can tell someone's age simply by using their face, especially not AI! You could quite literally fake the AI face verification by getting a video of someone turning their head left and right! Here's one of my friends who AI mistook for an adult.

Do you see the problem here? Roblox isn't doing this to protect the children. All they're doing is making it easier for predators to find minors, which isn't surprising considering the previous situations that happened with Roblox.

Roblox's update is also feeding literal human faces into AI. Yet another big problem with the update. So not only is it easier for literal predators to groom minors, it's easier for AI to impersonate people and copy their faces. Which raises yet another problem. Predators can now use AI to trick Roblox into thinking they're a minor, allowing them to chat with and groom them.

We obviously need a safe environment. This is only making everything worse. By signing this petition, you're showing that this update needs to be reconsidered, and they need to listen to the community for once. Every voice counts.
