The subject of this heartfelt petition is the toxic environment within our church community at Greenwood, SC, created under the leadership of [Redacted] [Redacted] is rudely dismissive towards congregation, frequently disrespectful, and exercises a condescending attitude that has cast a troubling shadow over our sacred gathering place. Our leadership is made to fear, further increasing the negative impact of continued leadership.

[Redacted] refers to the church leadership as " Inner Circle" claiming absolute authority and creating an unhealthy hierarchy. blatant misuse of personal difficulties, such as wife's illness, as a constant sermon topic, has not only grown tiresome but has started feeling manipulative.

Even our most respected elders, our senior congregation members, aren't spared from discourtesy. Notably, the membership of our church has been on a sharp decline, with people leaving with every passing Sunday. This isn't growth - it's regression!

Our church family is in a dire state. We need to restore the mislaid values of respect, kindness, understanding, and true spiritual guidance. This isn't possible with [Redacted] leading the charge. We, therefore, call on the jurisdiction presiding over our area to investigate these claims and consider our plea of replacing [Redacted] for the betterment of our beloved church.
