The Issue

We, the citizens of the United States, call for the immediate removal of President Donald Trump due to his criminal convictions, ongoing indictments, and repeated abuses of power.

In May 2024, Donald Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts in New York for falsifying business records to hide a hush-money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election. This marks the first time in U.S. history that a former president has been found guilty of felony crimes. Though he received an unconditional discharge, he remains a convicted felon.

Trump is also:

Facing 40 felony charges in a federal case for mishandling classified documents;

Charged in a federal conspiracy case related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election and provoke the January 6 Capitol attack;
Indicted in Georgia under state racketeering (RICO) laws for leading a coordinated effort to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results.

These are not just personal legal issues—they are direct threats to the Constitution, democracy, and public safety. His actions have weakened America’s moral authority abroad and polarized citizens at home. His rhetoric has inspired threats against judges, prosecutors, and public officials, escalating tensions and damaging democratic institutions.

Donald Trump’s continued presence in public office is untenable. No one, not even a president, should be above the law.

We Demand:

That Congress immediately begin impeachment proceedings to remove Donald Trump from office;
That if impeachment fails, elected leaders issue a formal declaration of no confidence;
That Donald Trump voluntarily resign in the face of overwhelming legal and ethical violations.

By signing this petition, we affirm that the presidency must be held to the highest standards—not the lowest. We ask our fellow citizens and representatives to stand up for the rule of law and for the future of our democracy.
