Nutomic said the bourgeoisie are promoting "the transgender topic" by hanging LGBT flags and letting "biological men" (ew) compete in the women's olympic division. Lots of people have asked him to apologise, but every time he makes some excuse and dodges any questions about whether he still believes this shit.

If he apologises for his transphobia I'll take down this petition, but if he doesn't then I don't think he should be paid to develop the Lemmy software. It sends a bad message to our trans users (myself included) and makes people off the platform think we're all a bunch of transphobic authoritarian extremists.

I want Lemmy to be a platform that's trying to look forward into the future and be that progressive change. If Lemmy is a nonprofit it should act like one. At least send the guy to HR sensitivity training. Or even better, hire a trans developer to replace him. You know there's plenty of trans girl programmers in thigh highs who've memorised the communist manifesto by heart. Okay I'm gonna stop typing now because I'm starting to shitpost
