Remove Nick Adderley's pension
The Issue
This petition was originally started to ensure he was sacked which has now happened. The petition will now focus on the criminal charges and pension forfeiture.
As a concerned citizen, I am deeply troubled to have watched the unfolding saga involving Nick Adderley, the disgraced former Chief Constable of Northamptonshire.
It has been proven that Mr. Adderley engaged in stolen valour by wearing medals he did not earn and lying for years with arrogant temerity about his military career, and instead of admitting his mistake when confronted, he claimed it was a mere "error" of wearing them on the wrong side and getting the details on his CV and vetting forms slightly wrong through being sloppy.
This incident is more worrying as it has been proven that Staffordshire Police paid for Nick Adderley to be subject to Developed Vetting that costs thousands of pounds and should have highlighted such basic errors by checking his Royal Navy service record. This indicates a coordinated cover up to both install Nick Adderley and try to protect him by others.
However, this petition is personal to me because I have experienced first-hand how Mr. Adderley's lack of professionalism can have devastating consequences for individuals seeking justice. In my own case, after reporting a rape and giving an MG11 statement in 2015 that was not even logged as a crime, despite being contacted on multiple occasions he ignored matters and lied that there was no crime recorded, tried to cover up matters issuing veiled threats and harassing me when complaints against him were raised. The rape was finally logged in July 2023 after the media were contacted and he could no longer supress this.
The fact that a person entrusted with upholding justice would willingly deceive others is deeply concerning and undermines public trust in our law enforcement system. We cannot afford to have someone who lies so freely simply allowed to be sacked as the sole sanction. Nick Adderley's career and involvement with matters need to be examined to establish how far his corruption extends and who else was involved with him.
It is imperative that we hold our leaders accountable for their actions and demand transparency and honesty from those who are meant to protect us. By signing this petition, we urge you, as responsible authorities with the power to effect change, to ensure Nick Adderley faces criminal charges. This will start the required procedures to deprive him of his Police pension to prevent him from allowing him to keep this fraudulently earned pension as a reward for his behaviour.

Despite being sacked and the huge scandal this has brought, lies continue to be told about his vetting, claiming he was subject to Developed Vetting ("DV") and forms have just been lost. Read here how in September 2024 the cover up still continues at the highest levels.
We believe that only through decisive action can we restore faith in our police force and ensure that justice prevails for all members of society.
