Remove "Michael Jackson: the Verdict" series

Remove "Michael Jackson: the Verdict" series

The Issue

Growing up as a huge fan of Michael Jackson, his music and persona have always been a source of inspiration and comfort for me. Watching the "Michael Jackson: the Verdict" series was not only painful but deeply disturbing. To see the legacy of a man, who was declared innocent in a court of law, tarnished by a series rife with misinformation is disheartening.

Michael Jackson was a transformative figure in the world of music, dance, and humanitarian efforts. His work brought joy and unity to millions around the globe. However, this series, spreading inaccurate narratives, undermines the exoneration he rightfully received.

It's vital to respect the legal verdicts and honor the reputations of individuals, especially those who are no longer here to defend themselves. Michael Jackson was acquitted of all charges after a thorough judicial process. Disseminating content that contradicts the justice delivered by the courts is unjust and misguides public perception.

We urge the producers and distributors to pull down the "Michael Jackson: the Verdict" series. Removing the series would not only honor the integrity of judicial outcomes but also respect the legacy of a legendary artist. This is a plea for truth and fairness.

After I watched the series it really hurt me emotionally. I took it very personal, because I'm a big fan of Michael Jackson since I was very young. And bringing this awful and hurting scandal after almost 20 years I think that's not right. Michael went through a lot that time. All those false accusations and  bought people that were claiming to be witnesses of a not existing crime. All that leaded to his death.

I don't think that it's right for this movie to even exist on Netflix. There were a lot of statements that were never shown to the public before. Most of the people talking about what was back there weren't on Michael's side - they mostly believe he was the criminal and not the innocent one, even when he was proven not guilty.

In the series there was said that the police has found a pornograpthy book with pictures of naked kids, but in the statements online there was no claiming that those things were ever found.

Almost all of the people, called there to talk again about the trial were not on Michaels side. Even after he was proven not guilty, they kept on talking that he wasn't really innocent and that there were even more things that weren't shown.

I want all of you to see the truth of Michaels life. He was a child in an adults body. He didn't have a normal childhood. He didn't know how it was proper to act like a one. Michael always thought of him as a child and tried to bring back his childhood. The mansion Neverland was to protect children from the crushing reality of the world and from the dark side of it, that I think it'll be for another petition this time for a person, that's still hiding in the shadows.

Join me in this cause and sign the petition to ensure that the content we consume reflects truth and justice. Let’s stand up for Michael Jackson’s legacy and ensure it remains untarnished by inaccuracies.
