Thanks for continuing to share the link to this petition with friends. We have 24 hours until we present it to the Bronson administration and the Assembly at tomorrow’s meeting at 5 pm in the Assembly Chambers at the Loussac Library.

Mayor Bronson just announced his choice for a permanent head librarian, but importantly, he plans to keep Judy Eledge in her deputy position. This is unacceptable. She fosters an environment of hyper-partisanship, disrespect to library employees, and lack of access to library materials of interest to marginalized groups.

Our position has not changed: Judy Eledge has no business in library leadership and needs to be removed.
