We, the supporters & sponsors of Milton Keynes Lightning Ice Hockey Club no longer have confidence in Graham & Monica Moody's ownership of our beloved team.

Since they bought the club back in May 2017 we have seen a catalogue of errors. The club has quickly slipped from a promising position of a new franchise in the Elite Ice Hockey League with a Team GB gold-medal winning coach, to bottom of the league with no hope of competing with even the 10th placed team on points and a tiny squad of players who are all that remain after the club allowed player after player to leave without replacement.

More recently media reports of the Elite League not being paid monthly fees and a former coach taking legal action against our club over unpaid wages have surfaced and suddenly MKL is a national embarrassment.

We understand mistakes happen but we can no longer believe this is anything other negligence and financial mismanagement.

Less than 1 month since Graham & Monica Moody released a statement telling supporters and sponsors that everything was being done to allow the club to remain in the EIHL it has since been announced that MKL plan to drop to the National Ice Hockey League.

The solution is clear, we call on Graham & Monica Moody to begin the process of finding new owners immediately. We have passed the point of no-return, we have no trust in the Moody's and we must start the process of moving on now to avoid damaging the club further.
