been a while, still here

been a couple of weeks, part of that is personal issues and part is the season... family is the most important thing to anyone and everyone, for those who are not family oriented in their thinking i truly feel sad.
anyways, im still here... have been trying to think of more ways to advertise for this petition and my company.
magazines ads, maybe a single commercial on a channel such as the public channel (pbs) since they have commercials now, used to be they wouldn't show commercials but like any corporation they are getting greedy too sadly.
since some companies are working on a free public use strategy, it isn't hard to imagine that the entertainment in general, but more specifically the digital game industry is moving somewhat in that direction... only they make money on the backend somewhere along the line, meaning free in these cases are not really free at all.
this is to be expected for the most part, and epic games takes this a bit further and makes a true separation from the business (for profit) side of their business structure and the public (for free) side completely separate and yet integral to their sales platform which is a huge leap in the right direction, they have taken the 'free to play' approach with their new games though unfortunately... this does not bode well for the industry as a whole.
however i still intend and am proving that a company can be non-profit and still function as a business in the game industry... this is still in its early infancy like any new technology it can take years for the idea to grow and flourish into something new and good.
this is why we need to break open this new niche in the gaming industry, as well as in business in general. as new technologies become available, they are never readily available because of the cost of making/developing these technologies, its the same in business and makes it even harder when you are doing something completely new that no one has tried ever before to create and release product for free.
using my company and its non-profit aspect to build up a employee payment system that will be steady and consistent, this will allow the company to be able to reproduce good classic games, however doing it this way would take much more time because then the company would have to build each of those games from the ground up from scratch, which is why i was hoping some of you might consider donating to the company on a monthly basis.
because signatures here are only good for swaying a company so far, they cannot by themselves generate financial support for whoever ends up working on the games, these signatures are great because it shows that you believe in what i am trying to accomplish in the rebuilding and re-release of these great games.
now this also means that you at least partially support the idea of my non-profit company as well, and that means a great deal to me by itself... unfortunately it will not buy the necessary elements (land, hardware, solar panels, wind turbines) that are necessary to create a stable future for the focus of the company as a non-profit free digital game (for free release) and donations should not be extended to forever to keep the non-profit going.
so yes i am asking once more for you to please consider donating a dollar per month, or more (if you feel the idea is worth it) as you see fit.
in the meantime i am going to try to work on the cheapest forms of advertising that will create a wider exposure (or so i hope) of the petition and the company.
merry christmass, or whatever you celebrate at this time of year.
may god bless you and yours, and a happy new year...
