The people of Friendswood, TX need a new Chief of Police. The Friendswood Police Department has a reputation for targeting individuals and businesses without probable cause. The blatant disrespect of the law is on full display every day by the actions of the Friendswood Police and the community is demanding change. There are countless stories of police departments abusing power and harassing the very people they are supposed to protect and serve. Chief Wieners needs to be held accountable for how the Police Department conducts itself. Enough is Enough. 

Wieners joined the Friendswood Police Department in February of 1999, quickly promoted as Assistant to the Chief of Police and in October of 2001, Wieners was appointed as Chief of Police.

In 2001, according to an article in the Houston Chronical, the citizens were concerned with the experience of Chief Wieners' and after 21 years of decline in the Friendswood Police Department, the citizens were right.

It's time for Change. It's time for Chief Wieners to be removed as Chief of Police and appoint a new Police Chief with true experience and sense of community.
