The State of Connecticut is well over due to remove the fluoride being pumped in the public water systems every day. I have loved ones in Connecticut who have to drink and cook with tap water thinking that if they boil it the fluoride will go away but it actually increases the concentration that is in the water. I also have loved ones in the Connecticut correctional facilities who are being forced to drink water full of fluoride every day because they are not given the option to buy water bottles on their commissary accounts, after hearing them complain about the smell of bleach and how they feel after drinking this water I started to do my own research. 

         Fluoride, while intended to prevent tooth decay, has been linked to various health issues such as dental fluorosis (a condition that results in white or brown speckles on your teeth) ,crippling skeletal fluorosis(a long-term bone disease that causes crippling pain and debility which weakens bones and can lead to deformities and calcified ligaments), as well as neurological problems (such as neurotoxicity which damages brain structures and functions, leading to altered cognitive function and psychiatric symptoms such as anxiety and depression ,negative impacts on memory, learning and brain development). I personally think that the neurological affects are the most frightening and serious especially for our children. It's time for Connecticut to prioritize the health and well-being of all its residents by removing fluoride from public water systems all together. 

     I encourage anyone in this “Constitutional State” that cooks with this water, makes bottles for their babies with this water, bathes or showers in this water or has someone in any of the Connecticut correctional facilities who do not have the choice to buy water bottles to sign this petition . I know I have given a lot of information to you all but honestly this is not even half of the damages that it can cause and while google is still free this information is public knowledge. The 14th amendment alone is being broken when they are poisoning the free water systems for the families that cannot afford to buy better and it’s up to our government to do better for our future leaders and loved ones.
