The Issue

I am a concerned member of the Tower Hill School community in Delaware. Our school should be a place of learning and growth, where students should feel safe and respected. However, Flock Security Cameras on our campus are causing discomfort and unease for every student I have spoken with.

Flock Cameras are invasive and should not exist within a school environment. Instead of promoting safety, they create a sense of surveillance and anxiety among students. Privacy is a fundamental right, and constant monitoring through these cameras infringes on that right without clear evidence that they reduce criminal activity on school grounds. These specific ALPR's are pointed at our student parking lot and toward our field hockey and lacrosse field.

We urge the City of Wilmington to remove these Flock Cameras from the campus and consider alternative measures that respect student privacy while ensuring the safety of our school community.

Help us create a better environment for all of the students at Tower Hill by signing this petition. Your support will send a strong message that safety does not need to come at the expense of children's sense of security and well-being.
