Archive of Our Own (AO3) is a fanfiction hosting site created with the ethos of allowing one to write and archive whatever they wished. Since its creation in 2008, it has become one of the largest fanfiction hosting sites, with over ten million works. 

Much has been said over their allowance of depictions of taboo subjects with fictional characters. However, the creator of this petition personally finds their allowance over what is depicted involving real children and teenagers much more troubling.  

Real children and teenagers deserve to exist without fear of being sexualized. While something often done to many celebrity minors, that does not justify it's existance on AO3. AO3 should not contribute to this. No one's pleasure to read a fic overrules the respect minors ought to have.
