I have been profoundly affected by watching the actions of Donald Trump, a man who is a convicted felon, an adjudicated sexual abuser, and an insurrectionist. This individual, rather than showing remorse or changing behavior, has continued to promote a dangerous rhetoric and act in a way that is detrimental to the safety, security, and unity of our nation. I am not alone in this sentiment, and it is important to highlight that his actions led to his second impeachment by the House of Representatives, a historic first in US politics (source: Congressional Records).

It seems unjust that someone with such a record can still potentially be a candidate on the ballot for the highest office in our land. I believe this is a situation that needs to be rigorously reviewed and changed. Removing him from the 2024 ballot will speak volumes for the integrity of our political system.
