We, the undersigned, assert with conviction the urgent necessity for the immediate removal of Judge Michael Davis and General Magistrate Allana Robinson Woods from their positions in the Broward County Court, Florida. This call for action stems from grave concerns about their ability to uphold the standards of impartiality and fairness that are indispensable in their roles.
Judge Michael Davis made a majestic ascent from ZuckerBox right onto the throne of the Broward County Court, clinching a victory in the Facebook election in 2018. During his tenure, there have been concerns about his adherence to the primary role of a judge, which is to assess facts without bias objectively. Criticisms have been raised about his alleged tendency to favor certain viewpoints, possibly ignoring or altering facts, and appearing to prioritize the interests of his professional peers over impartiality. (Please See Updates # 3 and # 1 for details).
General Magistrate Allana Robinson Woods, who inherited a formidable presence in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Broward County in 2019, finds herself at the center of a contentious situation. GM Woods' decisions against the Petitioner/Father have been boldly criticized as unjust and baseless, blatantly obstructing his efforts to build a relationship with his child. These actions don't just raise eyebrows; they're seen as a direct assault on public trust, potentially wreaking havoc on the fabric of society. When a judge seems to sway under the weight of personal biases or dishonesty, it's not just a minor misstep – it's a catalyst for deep-seated issues of injustice and inequality, shaking the very pillars of our balanced governmental system. (Please See Update # 4).
This is an ongoing paternity case filed by a father in October 2020 in Broward County Court FMCE 20010611. It's got all the mundane elements you'd expect in Judge Michael Davis and GM Woods' Chambers: Corruption, Bias, Sex, Unethical Behavior, Inhumane Orders, a 'Toy Boy' Attorney, Personal Vendettas, bribe-taking GAL (Please See Update # 2), 'Poodle' Attorneys, and, of course, the ever-so-ordinary 'real Karens' as Assistants AND NOTHING ABOUT THE CHILD BEST INTEREST!
The Petitioner/Father, in a decisive move and after uncovering a glaring conflict of interest, concluded that a fair trial was impossible under Judge Michael Davis and GM Woods' watch. This realization led to a bold step: filing a Motion to Disqualify GM Woods, especially given her prior acquaintance with the Respondent/Mother (a licensed Florida attorney practicing in Broward Courts) since July 2018, including presiding over a case involving the Respondent/Mother's fraudulent fundraising activities. Adding to the intrigue, both General Magistrate Allana Robinson Woods' parents hold judge positions in the Broward County Court, thickening the plot in this legal drama.
Although Petitioner/Father successfully removed Judge Michael Davis and General Magistrate Allana Robinson Woods from this ongoing case, we will now present the whole compelling ordeal:
In a critical child custody matter, both Judge Davis and GM Woods have demonstrated a pattern of behavior and decisions that suggest deep-seated bias and prejudice, undermining the very fabric of justice.
Their rulings, particularly the excessively restrictive supervised visitation arrangements for the Petitioner/Father, not only severely limit his parental rights but also disregard the child's expressed desires, a core aspect of child welfare considerations. For three long years, this father fought tooth and nail against a system rigged with oppressive and blatantly unfair rulings. Despite these odds, he clawed his way to a measly two-hour commute in grueling traffic, all for a paltry 16 HOURS a MONTH of visitation rights to see his child. This was the harsh reality from September 1, 2021, to September 22, 2022. But his unwavering determination finally bore fruit, escalating his visitation to a substantial 56 HOURS a MONTH from September 22, 2022, to November 1, 2023. Then, in a stunning and outrageous move, just three days before his recusal, Judge Michael callously stripped away these hard-earned rights on November 15, 2023. He ripped his beautiful 7-year-old child from his arms, leaving the child severely traumatized and him in a devastating void with zero visitation right before Thanksgiving. This cruel and insane decision of Judge Davis wasn't just a setback but a cold, calculated betrayal of justice.
There is evidence of neglecting substantial evidence favoring the Petitioner/Father and a disturbing tendency to suppress valid objections during hearings, indicating a disregard for fair practice. Alarming ethical issues arise from their apparent partiality, especially their observed familiarity with the Respondent/Mother and her polycule law firm of Saban and Solomon PL, and most importantly with her previous married, coworker attorney Richard Conforti (who was also removed from this case on ethical grounds) raising questions about conflict of interest, impartiality, and ethicality.
The welfare of the child, paramount in custody cases, seems to have been sidelined, evidenced by decisions that contravene a fair and equitable 50/50 timeshare agreement previously established.
The conduct of Judge Davis and GM Woods, marked by repeated violations of judicial standards, erodes public confidence in the judiciary, a cornerstone of our legal system. In light of these serious concerns, we stand together in demanding immediate action.
The integrity of our judicial system and the welfare of the children involved must be the paramount considerations. We firmly believe that removing Judge Michael Davis and General Magistrate Allana Robinson Woods is not only justified but imperative for restoring faith in our legal processes.
