As a devoted player of Cookie Run Kingdom, I have always been excited about new events, collaborations, and the diverse experiences the game offers. However, with the recent K-Pop Demon Hunters collaboration, I, along with many other players, have found myself deeply disappointed and excluded due to the implementation of a paywall on Derpy. This paywall makes it incredibly difficult for Free to Play (F2P) gamers like myself to fully engage with the event content, leaving us feeling marginalized and undervalued.

The beauty of gaming lies in its ability to bring people together, regardless of their financial situation. For many players, Cookie Run Kingdom is not just a game but a community where we find camaraderie and joy. But now, with key content locked behind a paywall, many of us find ourselves on the outside looking in.

We understand that developers need to generate revenue, but there are fairer ways to achieve this without alienating a significant portion of the player base. Instead of a paywall, cosmetic items such as the Your Idol my cookie icing set is already behind a paywall.  Currently this is the second time Devsisters has placed an exclusive guest cookie behind a paywall in that case it was Young Kulfi. He was also priced at $5, while currently Derpy's price is more than double that, sitting at 11.99.  

Moreover, it's important to recognize the impact such decisions have on the game's community. By keeping key characters accessible, you encourage a wider audience to stay engaged and invested in the game. This not only benefits the players but the developers as well, as it fosters a loyal and passionate player community that supports the game through continuous engagement.

We urge the developers of Cookie Run Kingdom to reconsider the paywall on Derpy during the K-Pop Demon Hunters collaboration. Let's make gaming inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
