I was hoping to reach this before EVO, but better late than never.

I'm about ready to send our signatures to the developers and publishers. I'm trying to type a message that comes from a place of love for the game, yet is firm enough to convince them of their mistake.

Regardless, it is a mistake, and should be a black mark to their reputation. The worst part is the silence. Not just the silencing of disagreeing voices, but the silence of the developers, and the lack of transparency. Still, to this day, we don't know why they made this decision, and why now?

The official account claimed that they weren't going to mention it further, and as far as I know, no developer nor publisher gave a reason. The lack of transparency is incredibly disgraceful. It infantilizes the current fan base. Treating us like we're unable to handle the reason. They should have been as transparent as possible. And who knows? Maybe they had a good reason. (I personally doubt it, but hey, who knows?)

Regardless, that's what I want. Transparency. When I send the email soon, that is what we will leave with. I'll send the message to any official source I can. Just to let our voices be heard. We will not be ignored. And we will not take no for an answer.

If you can, I want you to do a blitz of this petition through shares. I don't want any more money donated. That money has better uses for now.
