On Sunday, February 17, we tried to deliver the 7,500 signatures we have collected on our petition to remove Roger Mahony to Los Angeles Archbishop Jose Gomez. He refused to accept the petition and we were physically removed from the Cathedral of Our Lady Of Los Angeles. 

Besides the arrogance and condescending attitude clearly displayed by Gomez, a couple of interesting things you will notice on the video:

• Bishop Gomez ordered his security to physically remove faithful Catholics and religious brothers (in habits) from the Cathedral.
• What does he mean with "this is private property" when the Cathedral belongs to the Church? Especially for a bishop so openly and loudly promoting open borders?

We contacted the diocese today to give another opportunity for Gomez to accept our petition and speak to us. We are waiting for a reply but we are not hopeful.
