Today "To Dye For: The Documentary" was released.

Be warned, it's heartbreaking. There's nothing quite like watching parents like yourself
struggle to understand their children's mental anguish, their rage, their "neurobehavioural outcomes". The helplessness they feel is palpable. I felt it too.

The release of this film is making me want to jump into action, writing letters, making videos, sharing widely, but I'm at a dead end. I don't know how to do more than I've done.

So I'm asking you, my supporters, to watch, to share, and to understand just how devastating this issue is for our children's mental health.

In 11 days it's Bell Let's Talk day. Do you think everyone will actually talk? Will they actually discuss the fact that suicide is the leading cause of suicide amongst children aged 5-11? Does anyone have any answers as to why this is  happening?

This film is evidence. These experiences are important, these families have been through this, and the conclusion they all came up with, was that eliminating food dye (a manmade chemical made of petroleum) eliminated the feelings of suicide ideation, the rage, the mental anguish, the sleeplessness, the memory issues, and the brain buzzing these children experienced.

This film is telling the world that the billion dollar dye industry has knowingly lobbied for its use in food and medicine for 50 years, despite strong evidence showing a link to mental health issues in children, and they've won. They've succeeded. They've convinced the world that this calorie-less ingredient is innocuous. But these mothers have shown us otherwise.

Please help.
