As residents of the Knolls Lodge mobile home community in Torrance, CA, we are living under a constant threat due to the presence of RVs parked on Western Ave. These vehicles are not just an eyesore but also a source of fear and danger for us.

The people residing inside these RVs have threatened our community members, broken windows, misused our facilities without permission, and littered both the sidewalk and inside our mobile home park with trash and human waste. This has created an environment where people are afraid to walk on their own sidewalks.

Moreover, these parked RVs block sightlines at intersections making it dangerous for drivers. The safety of pedestrians is also at risk as they have to navigate around these large vehicles blocking their path.

We propose that Western Ave should become a red zone or permit parking only during specific times of day. This would help regulate parking in the area while ensuring safety for all residents.

We urge city officials to take immediate action against this issue affecting not only us but all residents in Torrance. It's time we reclaim our streets from fear and danger imposed by these illegally parked vehicles.
