We demand greater respect for all female athletes, as well as every female professional working as a doctor, physiotherapist, agent, coach, journalist, photographer, and in all other roles related to women's athletics and sports in general. Women work in sports, play sports, and watch sports from home. Portraying Sydney Sweeney nude with her breasts exposed while delivering the slogan "It's just sports"—with an unmistakable sexual innuendo—is an unforgivable mark of disrespect to all the women around the world fighting to make their mark in the sports industry with dignity, resilience, and dedication.

Despite her prominent status in Hollywood, Sydney Sweeney does not represent any of us. In fact, by proceeding with this Novig campaign, she sets a dangerous precedent for current and future generations of women.
