Removal of stereotypical uniforms in MRIS schools

Removal of stereotypical uniforms in MRIS schools
The Issue
At Manav Rachna School, children are made to wear blue and pink uniforms according to their gender, i.e, blue for boys and pink for girls. Firstly, it is completely neglecting that other genders also exist. It discourages gender- exploration and restricts to the fact that there are only 2 binary genders. Also, these stereotypes are affecting the younger students who are proved that certain activities are made for only a specific gender. We got equality as citizens a long time ago, however, if educational institutions are not changing their age-old stereotypes, how is the younger generation going to learn? How will there be change? Please support us MRIS students in achieving a gender-neutral uniform.
