Bring South Sydney Rabbitohs Home to Allianz Stadium! 🐇❤️💚🤍

For nearly two decades, the South Sydney Rabbitohs have been forced to play home games at Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park—far from their traditional heartland. It's time for Souths to come home to Allianz Stadium in Moore Park, where they truly belong.

Why This Matters?
The Rabbitohs have one of the most passionate and loyal fan bases in the NRL, but Accor Stadium does not serve the club or its supporters. Poor atmosphere, low attendance, and inconvenient location make it clear that this is not the right home for South Sydney.

1. Accor Stadium is Too Far From South Sydney Fans
The heart of the Rabbitohs lies in Redfern, Maroubra other areas in Sydney’s south-east. Allianz Stadium is right next to these communities, making it easier for members and fans to attend games. Accor Stadium, on the other hand, is located over 30 kms away, making it difficult for many loyal supporters to get to games, especially on weeknights.

2. Poor Attendance and Atmosphere at Accor
Accor Stadium has an 80,000-seat capacity, but Rabbitohs games often struggle to reach even a third of that, creating a hollow and lifeless atmosphere. By contrast, Allianz Stadium has a 42,500-seat capacity, making for a more intimate, packed, and exciting game-day experience. A move to Allianz would ensure bigger crowds, better engagement, and a home-ground advantage worthy of South Sydney.

3. The Government Has Failed to Upgrade Accor
The NSW Government promised major upgrades to Accor Stadium but has not delivered. Instead, it has focused funding on other stadiums, while Souths are left playing in an outdated and poorly maintained venue. Meanwhile, Allianz Stadium has been completely rebuilt into a world-class sporting facility, and Souths should have the right to use it.

What We Are Demanding
We call on the NSW Government, the South Sydney Rabbitohs board, and the NRL to allow South Sydney to permanently move their home games to Allianz Stadium. This is the right decision for the fans, the club, and the game of rugby league in Sydney.
