The anticipation was real. I was thrilled to know that 'The Plot in You' would take the stage at The Forum in Melbourne, on January 25, 2026. It's not just any venue, but a renowned architectural gem with stellar acoustics and an irreplaceable atmosphere that matches the artists' energy. But to my disappointment, the promoters decided to move it to PICA, a venue notorious for its subpar facilities and inadequate sound quality, the transport to and from the venue is horrendous, the parking is non existent, it will be summer time aswell which is not the time to be trapped in a shed. The next day being January 26 means transport and accommodation is hard to access too, they’ve made a huge mistake in booking this venue. 

The Forum is a leader in Melbourne's vibrant music scene - a place where memories are made, and the sound reverberates in your soul. In stark contrast, PICA doesn't meet musicians' or fans' standards. Those who've experienced concerts at PICA know about the horrible use of spaces, inferior acoustics, and limited amenities. It lacks the magic that makes live music unforgettable.

Melbourne loves its concerts and values quality experiences. By switching to PICA, this unwarranted decision deprives fans of the true 'The Plot in You' experience. It's a disservice to the band who deserve a venue befitting their talent and to the fans who invested in a night to remember.

We call upon the promoters to consider relocating the concert back to The Forum for multiple nights or another venue that reflects the spirit of Melbourne's music culture. Let's ensure 'The Plot in You' get the stage they deserve, and fans get the experience they've been eagerly awaiting.
