We, fans of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, would like to use this petition to express our deep appreciation for the soundtrack of the Dragons: The Nine Realms series, composed by Patrick Cannell.

The series premiered on December 23, 2021 and concluded on December 28, 2023, totaling eight seasons. Set 1,300 years after the events of the original trilogy, it sought to expand the How to Train Your Dragon universe for a new generation.

Despite being met with strong rejection by a large part of the public, who criticized changes in style, tone and setting, some elements were widely recognized as positive points — among them, the design of certain dragons, the expansion of the Hidden World and, mainly, the soundtrack composed by Patrick Cannell.

The series' music keeps alive the epic and emotional essence established by John Powell in the original films. Cannell's composition stands out for its beauty, sensitivity and ability to make the audience feel immersed, even if it's just in the soundtrack.

Unfortunately, to date, the soundtrack has not been officially released on any streaming or digital purchase platform. This has frustrated fans who want to relive these musical moments and appreciate the composer's work.

Therefore, we respectfully request that DreamWorks Animation and/or those responsible for distributing the series consider:

The official release of the complete Dragons: The Nine Realms soundtrack on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and others.

The availability of the soundtrack in digital format for purchase (e.g., iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp).

If possible, a physical release (CD or vinyl) for collectors and enthusiasts of the franchise.

We believe that an official release will not only satisfy fans, but also give due recognition to Patrick Cannell's talent and further cement the legacy of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise.

Nós, fãs da franquia Como Treinar o Seu Dragão, viemos por meio desta petição expressar nosso profundo apreço pela trilha sonora da série Dragões: Os Nove Reinos, composta por Patrick Cannell.

A série estreou em 23 de dezembro de 2021 e foi concluída em 28 de dezembro de 2023, totalizando oito temporadas. Ambientada 1.300 anos após os eventos da trilogia original, ela buscou expandir o universo de Como Treinar o Seu Dragão para uma nova geração.

Apesar de ter sido recebida com forte rejeição por grande parte do público, que criticou mudanças no estilo, no tom e na ambientação, alguns elementos foram amplamente reconhecidos como pontos positivos — entre eles, o design de certos dragões, a expansão do Mundo Escondido e, principalmente, a trilha sonora composta por Patrick Cannell.

A música da série mantém viva a essência épica e emocional estabelecida por John Powell nos filmes originais. A composição de Cannell se destaca por sua beleza, sensibilidade e capacidade de fazer o público se sentir imerso, mesmo que seja na trilha sonora.

Infelizmente, até o momento, a trilha sonora não foi lançada oficialmente em nenhuma plataforma de streaming ou compra digital. Isso tem frustrado os fãs que desejam reviver esses momentos musicais e valorizar o trabalho do compositor.

Por isso, solicitamos respeitosamente que a DreamWorks Animation e/ou os responsáveis pela distribuição da série considerem:

O lançamento oficial da trilha sonora completa de Dragões: Os Nove Reinos em plataformas como Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer e outras.

A disponibilização da trilha em formato digital para compra (ex: iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp).

Se possível, o lançamento físico (CD ou vinil) para colecionadores e entusiastas da franquia.

Acreditamos que um lançamento oficial não apenas satisfará os fãs, mas também prestará o devido reconhecimento ao talento de Patrick Cannell e fortalecerá ainda mais o legado da franquia Como Treinar o Seu Dragão.
