Role in the Film:

The next year, Linnie packed for her family's trip to Florida and sat down at a family meeting after Buzz and Kevin got into a fight during a Christmas pageant.

Running late for their flight again, she rushed to the airport with the rest of the family. Upon arrival, she helped pass out luggage at the Miami airport, but they found out from their cousin Fuller that Kevin was missing once again.

When the family went to the Villa de Dolphiné, she looked at it in disgust.

She later watched a Spanish dub of It's a Wonderful Life in the family's hotel room and then rushed to New York City with the rest of the family when they learned that Kevin was there.

On Christmas morning, she opened presents from a truckload Kevin had earned from Mr. E.F. Duncan.

Spoken like a true fan. It's a pity they didn't try to bribe her into returning for the sequel by offering her a raise. Since it was her decision not to return due to other commitments.

Linnie is shown to genuinely care for Kevin and be quite insightful, in a deleted scene from the first film as she talks with her Father Peter about what's most important at Christmas: family.

Linnie is the only character from the first film to be recast in the second.

This is due to a conflict of interest; Angela Goethals had to prioritize schoolwork and prepare for the 1993 series Phenom, thus Maureen Elisabeth Shay was chosen to replace her.
