The Issue

In 2001, Katsuya Eguchi and Hisashi Nogami at Nintendo introduced the iconic simulation game, Animal Crossing. This game empowers players to create their dream worlds alongside endearing anthropomorphic animals. As a long-time fan of the series, I know firsthand that our community is brimming with valuable ideas and opinions about what we want from the game. It's unacceptable that Nintendo fails to engage with the Animal Crossing Community and our desires for future installments. We demand that Nintendo listen to us and take our feedback seriously for Animal Crossing and release the game soon so we don't have to wait another 5 years! 

In Animal Crossing, there have been a bunch of cool features throughout the whole series but some of them have been removed and some people want a new feature in the game so that’s why I made a whole list of new features that we should add and features from the past games that we should bring back and put them in the new Animal Crossing game that needs to come soon.

Why I love Animal Crossing

I can hardly contain my excitement when I think about Animal Crossing! It's genuinely one of the most comforting and heartwarming games out there, and I’d love to share why it means so much to me. First and foremost, it offers a beautiful escape from the stresses of everyday life. The soothing music, charming art, and delightful characters work together to create a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

What I really appreciate about the game is the freedom it provides. You can explore at your own pace, decorate your home, fish by the river, and create your own little slice of paradise. Engaging in activities that foster joy and relaxation feels so revitalizing, especially in times when life can feel overwhelming.

And let’s not forget the incredible sense of community and friendship within Animal Crossing. Interacting with the adorable animal villagers, celebrating seasonal events, and visiting friends’ islands brings a sense of warmth and connection that’s truly special. 

In all honesty, I can’t recommend Animal Crossing enough. It’s a cozy haven that offers comfort and solace to players of all ages. If you haven't had the chance to explore it yet, you’re really missing out on something truly magical!

Here is my list of features we need to add/bring back to Animal Crossing!

OLD features we need to bring back

• BRING BACK THE HOUSE CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS FROM NEW LEAF!!!!
• Bonkhammer and megaphone from new leaf
• Island minigames from new leaf
• Bring back Animal Island but with a lot more features
• Bring back more places like Club LOL, Shampoodle, Police Station, the lighthouse from the OG Animal Crossing, the Reset Surveillance Center, GracieGrace, the Auction House from City Folk, The Fortune Shop from New Leaf, etc.
• Bring back characters, like Katie and Kaitlin, Leila, Leilani and Grams, Nat, Pelly, Pete, Phineas, Wendell, Serena (the fountain goddess from City Folk), Porter, Gracie, Frillard (from City Folk), Farley from the OG Animal Crossing, Dr. Shrunk, Resetti, Don Resetti, Digby, Joan, Copper, Booker, etc.
• Bring back Blanca and April Fools Day from New Leaf
• Bring back nook's cranny's upgrade designs  from the past games
  Bring back Celeste's Observatory

 NEW features we need to add

• Fourth level cliff
• Put the Pro Decorating in the Island Designer app to use it to make moving buildings, furniture, and adding cliffs, paths, and inclines easier it should look kinda like this (click this url ➡) https://bobacupcake.itch.io/island-planner
• Change the Island name character limit to 20 characters
• More hairstyles and more customization options
• More custom design clothing options (bows, beanies, pants, shorts, skirts, etc.)
• Be able to text villagers on your NookPhone
• Be able to track your villagers on the Map
• Be able to use in-game online features such as dreaming, going to other peoples' islands, inviting people to your island, using the custom design portal, etc, but WITHOUT needing Nintendo Switch Online
• Be able to visit the same Dream Address island with your friends
• More villagers, more clothes, more furniture, basically more everything
• MORE NOOKPHONE APPS, please? with chocolate syrup and sprinkles and cherries on top?
• More dialogue (their dialogue gets kinda old and they start to say the same things over and over again)
• Make it easier to unlock all the items from the in-game catalog or special events, DIYs, etc.
• Remove the limit of items you can buy from Nook Shopping catalog and the Happy Home Paradise catalog
• Be able to craft more than one of an item (bulk crafting)
• Be able to make your own custom items/furniture
• More updates/DLCs
• 360° view and camera (on the nookphone)
• Choose music for hourly music, shop music, and sounds using music and sounds from past games
• Bridges across cliffs
• Customize the cliffs with custom designs
• Be able to swim in the Pool furniture item
• Be able to use  the surfboard item in the ocean
• Be able to talk to Isabelle to make  villagers move out
•  be able to use the jungle gym, the cotton candy machine, the plaza teacup ride, etc.
• be able to have no limit of furniture you could put in your house and yard
• be able to visit your own dream island
• you could use the room sizing thing from Happy Home Paradise on your house
