The biopic about Michael Jackson has garnered immense attention and anticipation worldwide.

For millions of people around the globe, Michael Jackson is more than just an artist. His music has shaped generations, his messages still resonate today, and his story continues to deeply touch countless fans. As one of the most influential figures in music history, his life story deserves the most complete, authentic, and artistically faithful portrayal possible.

Films often undergo cuts or changes after release – whether for economic, legal, or time-related reasons.

However, important scenes are frequently lost in the process, often precisely the moments that make a story truly resonate. Scenes that add depth. Scenes that explain. Scenes that bring us closer to who this person really was and that contribute to character development.

This petition addresses precisely this issue: We urge those responsible to make the so-called Director's Cut – that is, the original version of the film intended by the director – available to the public, insofar as this is legally possible.

This could be achieved, for example, through:

• an additional version on DVD or Blu-ray
• a release on streaming platforms
• or even a re-release of the uncut version in theaters.
