After starting this petition so long ago , I knew it was going to be an uphill battle . I had even closed it when Warner Bros first announced they would put the film up for sale . Unfortunately, they never sold it and we were kept wondering if this film would ever see the light of day . After they announced that it was canceled a 2nd time , many people felt like there was no point anymore . That it will be lost forever and there really was nothing we could do about it . There were however , so many people who continued to fight , kept #releasecoyotevsacme trending …actors from the film spoke up , including Eric Bauza and Will Forte . The fans continued to voice their displeasure, crew members as well. 

After a very long wait …COYOTE VS ACME has been saved !!! Ketchup Entertainment (who also saved The Day the Earth Blew Up” has made the acquisition and plan for it to have a theatrical release in 2026.  

Thank you to all who signed this petition, commented on the situation and made this all possible. Make sure we keep that same enthusiasm when the film releases and we make it a success . No matter what though , the fact that this movie will see the light of day is a HUGE success already .
