Censorship is wrong and this is nothing but  a form of censorship 

Please release the 9 hour Prince documentary directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ezra Edelman and let the fans decide how much of it is based on truth.

Ezra Edelman worked on this film for 5 long years and interviewed many musicians, friends and people who worked for him to get an unbiased documentary shedding light on what Prince's life was really like. 
 
Keeping this from the public, is wrong. 
Sounds like there is some truth that some are afraid of. Any reasonable person knows Prince wasn't perfect. He was human and humans have flaws. This sounds like the Prince Estate is trying to hide something or somethings by not letting Netflix release it.

Prince was great don't get me wrong and he did amazing and wonderful things musically, financially and charitably.

Though if you dig deep into his career you will see he also did some insensitive things as most humans do over a life time.
I think only a film made by an independent third party, such as Ezra Edelman, can explain what made him tick and behave like he did.

Shame that they are trying to hide that truth. There is a lot to be learned from his story and we all know there's more to it than just the similarities in Purple Rain. 

Release it and let the fans decide how much of it is based in truth.
